Hampers for the Community
Well done to Hanson Students, giving back to the community. We have delivered hampers made from food that staff and students have donated to local residents and food banks. 55 hampers this year, helping towards no one going hungry this Christmas.
#teamhanson spreading a bit of Christmas cheer with local residents. Well done to all form tutors and students who helped make this possible. A massive well done to AS and MS who created their own personal hamper using their pocket money. Well done to 7K for the winning hamper.

Christmas Party
#teamhanson pulling out all the stops to give some of our most deserving students an amazing start to Christmas.
Santa joined #teamhanson to help make Christmas one to remember for our students. Proving that Hanson staff are well and truly on the good list this year, with donations and sponsoring the Christmas presents handed out.
A massive well done to #teamhanson for donating, volunteering and sharing a little Christmas magic this year. Listening to the gasps of amazement from the students and sending them home with more than they could carry, was a brilliant start to Christmas.
Students at Hanson enjoyed Christmas hamper decorating and filling, gingerbread decorating, a hamper hunt around the school with the cheesiest cracker jokes to solve, woolly hats, a Christmas gift shop for students to pick presents for someone special to them, hot chocolate, singing, a surprise Christmas message from Hogwarts caretaker Argus Filch aka actor David Bradley and a visit from Santa! A truly magical Christmas event for all involved. Wishing all our staff, students’ parents and carers a wonderful Christmas.
