From September 2019, assessment data will be collected and reported home three times per year for Years 9 and 10 and four times per year for Year 11 based on the cycle below. Students in Year 11 have two mock exam seasons and Year 10 have one in the summer term.
When students join Hanson, targets are set based on their Key Stage 2 results and end of year/course targets are produced. At Key Stage 4, these are based on the grading for each specific qualification they are studying.
After each assessment point, a report will be produced with the following information:
Current Grade: this is the grade that the student has been consistently working at.
Target Grade: this is the grade that would represent expected progress at the end of the course.
Predicted Grade: this is the grade that the student is highly likely to achieve at the end of the course based on their current work, rates of progress and any exam/ assessment results they have achieved.
