Erasmus+ is the European Union’s (EU) programme for education, training, youth and sport, with the EU committing £12 billion to the programme between 2014 and 2020. In the UK, the programme is managed by the Erasmus+ UK National Agency, a partnership between the British Council and Ecorys UK.
At Hanson our students have been fortunate enough to experience 3 trips through the Erasmus scheme. In February 2018 ten of our year 7 students went on an exchange trip to Finland. In April 2018 fifteen of our post 16 students went to Italy on a work experience scheme and in March 2019 twelve of our year 7 to 10 students went on an exchange trip to Barcelona.
